Our Vision:

...Where experiencing Jesus Christ is exciting, relevant and real!

Our Mission: (How we fulfill our vision)

Train up disciples (followers of Jesus Christ),

Reach out to others in Christ's love,

Communicate the message of Jesus Christ to the world,

Celebrate and continually worship Jesus Christ corporately & individually.

Statement of Faith:

Our belief system is based upon the infallible and inerrant Word of God, the Holy Bible, complete in its 66 books. We believe in the Holy Trinity (the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit) and that salvation (forgiveness and eternal life with God) comes only through believing and following Jesus Christ. Jesus came to earth through the virgin birth, ministered here then was crucified dead and buried. He then rose and sits now with God the Father in heaven until His return. Our role as Christians is to glorify God in all that we do, further His work and share His love with others. We are a family committed to fulfilling God's purpose.

How did this church begin?:

Jim Watson was inspired by God with a vision to reach out to the unchurched people in the North Attleboro area in a contemporary style. After 18 months of studying Scripture, marketing and praying, he and three other individuals opened Twin Rivers Community Church on September 7, 1997 in a friend's garage. For the first four years, the church met in various locations including schools and a karate studio. It is now in its own location, in downtown North Attleboro, MA.

How did the name "Twin Rivers" come about?

When the church was being planted, the planting team wanted the name to be related to the community. After looking over a map of the area, they noticed that the Ten Mile River and the Seven Mile River run through North Attleboro and the surrounding towns. Hence the name "Twin Rivers."
